Together we identify the needs of our community and work to meet those needs.  Our members grow by sharing ideas, making new friends and working together to make a difference in our community. 

The GFWC Tampa Junior Woman's Club, Inc. is a nonprofit organization. Tampa Juniors was founded in 1935.  We are members of the General Federation of Woman's Clubs (GFWC) established in 1890. The GFWC is an international organization with over 10 million members in 30 countries. Over the years the GFWC has grown into one of the largest organization of volunteer women with the motto of "Unity in Diversity".

Membership Requirements
The main benefits of giving your valuable time to belong to the GFWC Tampa Junior Woman's Club are:

  • You must be at least 18 years old;
  • You must be a registered voter;
  • You must attend our monthly business meetings on the third Wednesday of the month (August – May);
  • Complete 12 hours of community service during each club year;
  • Attend one board meeting;
  • Attend one Federated event
  • Participate in the planning and execution of a club fundraiser.
